Wiki's and Blogs used in instruction....

I only know of a few teachers in our building who follow blogs and wiki's on a personal level. At this point, no one "Teaches" by embedding blogs or wikis into lessons. I see the potential for cross curricular studies and collaboration among students and teachers. (I know my Spanish teacher really wants to connect her current students here with her former students in Spain as soon as possible.) I see the potential exists for staff in reading, thinking, and then responding to blogs and wiki's at non traditional times if technology and equipment are available which should increase input and colaboration for all.
